Private Treatment during Vocational Training

Under the conditions of employment between yourself, the Trainer and the University this year aims to provide the trainee with experience in a wide range of NHS Practice. During this period it is stipulated that only treatment under the NHS is provided.

In compliance with the above, the trainer signs a declaration that at no time will they force you to undertake private treatment.

EXCEPTIONS

i) During the provision of a course of NHS treatment, patients may request such items of treatment that cannot be provided under the Terms of Service

i.e. posterior composites

In such cases these items can be provided privately.

ii) Patients attending the surgery that request totally private treatment can be undertaken at the Dentist’s discretion.

iii) Advanced techniques that cannot be provided within the NHS or the scope of the individual practice.
